Woman killed in Pulaski County pedestrian crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 19-year-old St. Robert woman is dead after being hit by a car in Pulaski County at 9:30 p.m. Thursday.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, the woman was walking on Highway 17 near Rocky Mountain Lane when she was hit by a 2017 Chevrolet Equinox traveling east, driven by a 19-year-old Falcon, Mo. man.

The report states the woman was walking in the road.

The woman was pronounced dead on the scene just after 10 p.m. She was taken to Waynesville Memorial Chapel, according to the report.

The man was not hurt. The Chevrolet had minor damage.

This is Troop I's second death for August and the 22nd death for 2026, according to the Highway Patrol.
