Truck driver seriously injured in Warren County crash

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A truck driver from Minnesota was seriously injured Monday in a crash on Interstate 70 at mile marker 191 in Warren County, according to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The report states that the driver – a 60-year-old man from Andover, Minnesota – of a 2021 Freightliner Cascadia failed to negotiate a curve while heading eastbound.

The semi went off the right side of the road through the median, went across the south outer road and hit a concrete retaining wall, the report says. The truck then overturned.

The driver had serious injuries and was brought to SSM Health in Lake St. Louis by ambulance, the report says.

The Freightliner was totaled. The report says the man was wearing a seatbelt.
