Ashland man hurt in late night crash in Callaway County

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Boone County man was hurt on Wednesday night after a crash near the Callaway/Boone County line.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened at 11:24 p.m. Wednesday on Highway 63 southbound, north of County Road 394.

The crash report states a 25-year-old man from Ashland was driving a 2012 Honda Ridgeline when he went off the side of the road.

Troopers said the truck overturned and stopped in the right lane of southbound Highway 63.

The driver was taken to University Hospital by ambulance with serious injuries, according to the report.

The crash report states he was not wearing a seatbelt during the crash.

A Boone County Joint Communications alert was sent out at 11:56 p.m. saying the southbound lanes were shut down due to the crash.
