Hallsville man seriously injured in crash on I-70

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Hallsville man was seriously injured in an early Monday crash on Interstate 70 in Montgomery County at mile marker 183, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

According to the report, a 2008 Mack 600 was totaled after it went off the left side of the eastbound lane, overturned and hit a median cable.

The driver -- Gregory Rasmussen, 34, of Hallsville -- was flown to Mercy Hospital in St. Louis with serious injuries, according to the report. An 11-year-old boy was a passenger in the truck and had minor injuries, the report says. He was brought to University Hospital by ambulance, according to the report.
