Arkansas man seriously injured in Maries County motorcycle crash

A 60-year-old Arkansas man suffered serious injuries Wednesday in a motorcycle crash in Maries County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The report states that the crash occurred when a 2008 Harley Davidson – driven by Mark Kelly, of Eureka Springs, Arkansas – hit an animal while going eastbound on Highway 28, about three miles west of Belle.

The motorcycle overturned and Kelly was ejected, the report states. He was wearing a helmet and was brought to Mercy Hospital in Washington, Missouri, by ambulance, the report states.

The Harley had moderate damage.
