Man on motorcycle seriously injured in Pulaski County crash

WAYNESVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man who was riding a motorcycle was seriously injured Friday in a two-vehicle crash on Reporter Road, about a mile west of Waynesville, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

According to the report, a 2021 Subaru was heading eastbound and a 2004 Yamaha motorcycle was heading westbound. Both vehicles were traveling around a curve and collided head-on, the report states. The report does not say if either vehicle crossed the center line.

Tyri Powell, 51, of Waynesville, was driving the Subaru and had no reported injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt, the report states.

Tyler Johnson, 25, of Waynesville, suffered serious injuries and was bought to Mercy Hospital in Springfield by ambulance, the report states. The report says he was wearing a helmet. Both vehicles had moderate damage, the report states.
