Illinois man seriously injured in Gasconade County motorcycle crash

GASCONADE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Beardstown, Illinois, man suffered serious injuries Thursday in a crash on Fowler Road, just north of Highway 50 in Gasconade County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The crash occurred as Austin Becker tried to use the brakes on his 2006 Harley Davidson Custom Softail Classic, and the bike began to skid, according to the report. Becker was ejected from the bike, the report states.

Becker was not wearing a helmet and suffered serious injuries, the report states. He was brought to Capital Region Medical Center by ambulance. The motorcycle had moderate damage, according to the report.
