Two injured after wreck on Highway 40 near Boothe Lane in Boone County

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two people were injured after a wreck on Highway 40 and Boothe Lane in Boone County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, Molly Widmer, 32, was driving a 2008 Toyota Sequoia on Highway 40 and trying to turn left onto Boothe Lane when a 2014 Nissan Sentra rear-ended her.

Elizabeth Bambeek was driving the Sentra and is reported to have moderate injuries. She was taken by ambulance to University Hospital.

Widmer was taken to Women’s and Children’s hospital with minor injuries according to the crash report.
