One woman hospitalized with minor injuries after crash on Highway 63 in Boone County

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A crash in southern Boone County injured a woman Monday morning.

Boone County Joint Communications posted to Twitter about the crash shortly after 9 a.m. It happened on southbound Highway 63 near South Westbrook Drive.

Officials at the scene told ABC 17 News that an SUV was in the right lane when the driver tried to make a left turn. The SUV turned in front of a semi, which crashed into the SUV.

The woman driving the SUV was taken to SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital in Jefferson City with minor injuries. The driver of the semi was not hurt.
