Missouri State Highway Patrol investigates hit-and-run crash north of Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated a hit-and-run crash north of Columbia on Monday night.

According to the report, the crash happened just before 10:55 p.m. Monday at the Route VV and Farrar Road intersection.

Troopers said a vehicle that didn't stop at a stop sign hit a 2014 Dodge Journey and pushed the van off of the road.

The other vehicle reportedly left the scene of the crash.

Troopers said the crash caused extensive damage to the van.

Three people from the van, Antonio P. Nelson, 32, Alonzo D. Hickem, 40, and Phinezy Johnson, 65, were all taken to a hospital in Columbia with minor injuries.

All three were wearing their seatbelts, according to the crash report.
