Des Peres man seriously hurt after crash in Camden County Monday evening

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 62-year-old Des Peres man was seriously hurt after a crash on Route HH at Eagle Drive in Camden County, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

The report states the man was driving a 2004 Ford F350 east just after 4 p.m. on Monday.

Troopers said the truck crossed the center line into the westbound lane before returning to the correct lane. This is when the truck slid off the right side of the road.

The driver reportedly hit a trashcan enclosure then went back onto the roadway, crossed the center of the road again before he went off the left side and hit an Ameren telephone pole, according to the crash report.

The truck was totaled according to Troopers.

MSHP crash report states the man was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The man was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, according to the report.
