Rolla man seriously hurt after ATV crash in Phelps County

PHELPS COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

An ATV crash in Phelps County Sunday evening sent a Rolla man to the hospital.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened on private property near County Road 3140 at 5:30 p.m.

According to the online crash report, a 2005 Honda Rancher driven by Randy Romine, 69, overturned, ejected him, then the ATV rolled on top of him.

Romine was taken by ambulance to Phelps Health with serious injuries.

Troopers said Romine was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
