Two people seriously injured after ATV crash in Phelps County

PHELPS COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two people were flown to University Hospital Thursday evening following an ATV crash in Phelps County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported the crash happened on County Road 7240 near U.S. 63 at 7:40 p.m.

Troopers say a ATV driven by Jabarie McCoy, 21, overturned on private property.

McCoy and his passenger William Holden, 23, were both flown to University Hospital with serious injuries, according to the online crash report.

Another passenger, Benjamin Blake, 26, suffered minor injuries and denied medical treatment on scene, Troops said.

According to the Highway Patrol, no one was wearing a safety device at the time of the crash.
