Hundreds see power restored in Mid-Missouri

Power outages were reported around Mid-Missouri on Thursday after heavy rain and storms went through the area.

At 2:27 p.m., Columbia had two outages affecting 126 electricity customers on Stadium Boulevard and in a neighborhood near Forum Boulevard.

The outage map for the Association of Missouri Electric Cooperatives showed 477 Callaway Electric Cooperative customers without power. Benton County had 291 Southwest Electric Cooperative customers without power.

Ameren’s map showed 367 Pettis County customers without power, while Cooper County had 271, Morgan County had 241 and Cole County had 114.

Most of those outages aside from Cole County were resolved before 4 p.m.
