Oct. 9 fire in Fulton causes $34,500 in damage to residence

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

More details are released about a fire that damaged a Fulton home.

According to the report from the Fulton Fire Department, the overnight house fire in 200 block of NE Eighth street caused $34,500 in damage.

No one was hurt.

A nearby building, two homes, and two vehicles were also damaged by the fire.

To fight the fire, crews deployed large-diameter attack hoses and a master stream devices for fire attack and exposure control.

The extent of the fire was so severe, that investigators were unable to determine the area of origin or cause of the fire.

The state fire marshal is investigating the cause but believe it can't be determined.
