QUESTION OF THE DAY: Will MU’s new tuition structure help students and families?

The University of Missouri Board of Curators approved new tuition rates Thursday, including a plan that creates "plateaus," or flat rates per hour, for full-time undergraduates.

While the plan can save some students money on tuition, the cost of attending college continues to rise overall, along with other costs. And that includes a trend of rising tuition over time.
