UM curators committee to get update on MU Health Care leadership search

COLUMBIA, (Mo.) KMIZ
The University of Missouri's Health Affairs Committee will get an update on the search for new MU Health Care leadership when it meets Thursday.
The committee met at 1 p.m. for a public session to discuss the search for new leadership and major construction projects.
The meeting was held at the Dr. Priscilla Koeplin Classroom in MU's School of Nursing.
MU Health Care hasn't had a permanent CEO since July 15, when Jonathan Curtright left for the University of Oklahoma medical system.
Currently, they are still looking for a permanent CEO.
MU Health is still looking to fill the positions of:
- MU Health Care chief executive officer
- Senior associate dean for research
- Vice-dean for clinical and faculty affairs
- MU Health Care chief quality officer
The University of Missouri's Vice Chancellor for Health Affairs Nim Chinniah has been interim CEO since Curtright left.
The University has launched a national search and is using Spencer Stuart, an executive search firm, to aid in that process.
