MU's faculty and staff is also headed back to the office today.

Masks are no longer required outdoors on the university's campus.

The CDC issued guidelines last week saying fully vaccinated people can be without a mask indoors and outdoors with only a few exceptions.

An MU spokesperson who says people will still mostly be required to wear masks indoors.

Christian Basi said, "The university does not make it a practice to ask individuals if they have been vaccinated, and for that reason we're still requiring masks indoors, because it's not feasible for us to ask every person who enters a building if they're vaccinated or not."

Social distancing will also continue in offices.
