Mizzou hosts graduation ceremonies for 2021 graduates

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The University of Missouri is set to host the first of two weekends of graduation ceremonies on Friday.

The School of Health Professions & School of Social Work, Sinclair School of Nursing and the Graduate School will all hand out diplomas on Friday. The Graduate School ceremony kicks off the weekend's events at 9:45 a.m. Friday.

The university will also host the 2021 Tiger Prowl and Senior Sendoff on Friday.

For graduation ceremonies, graduates were each given six tickets for family and friends to attend.

Doors to the commencement ceremonies will open an hour prior to starting.

Each group of six tickets will be seated together in a socially distanced pod. Masks are also required to be worn by all attendees.

Graduates will pick up tickets at the Mizzou Store, which will run on extended hours for graduation ceremonies. The Mizzou Store is scheduled to open an hour prior to the earliest ceremony.

Graduates are also being asked to show up no later than 30 minutes prior to the beginning of their designated commencement ceremony in order to be pre-seated.

Graduates are encouraged to park at the southwest corner of Lot P behind Mizzou Arena. However, there will be open parking for graduates in all lots surrounding Mizzou Arena.

A live stream of every ceremony is available for those unable to attend in person, with a list of every live stream on the university's website.
