Former University of Missouri baseball player files suit after being injured during game

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Former University of Missouri baseball player Cade Bormet has filed suit against the curators of the University of Missouri - University Athletics after being injured during a game in May 2018.

According to the lawsuit, Bormet went for a foul ball at Taylor Stadium when he slid into a brick wall.

Bormet suffered several head injuries.

The lawsuit alleges the university knew of the dangerous conditions at the stadium and the university did not provide padding on the brick wall.

Bormet is seeking damages in excess of $25,000.
