Suspect arrested following Fulton home invasion

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ) -

One man was arrested following a break-in at a home, according to the Fulton Police Department.

The incident happened just after 10:30 a.m. in the 200 block of West 6th Street, according to a news release.

Police say investigators found that Silas Billups of Fulton forced his way into the home, assaulted one person and stole their phone.

Billups is facing charges including burglary, domestic assault, stealing, property damage and possession of a controlled substance.

He is currently being held at the Callaway County Jail.
