A Fulton teenager was killed in south Fulton late Sunday night.
According to a press release from Fulton Police, officers found 17-year-old Mason Sheets shot near the area of South Business 54 and Commons Drive at 11:51 p.m. on Sunday. Officers were responding to a report of a disabled vehicle.

Fulton police said the Mid-Missouri Major Case Squad has been activated.
Fulton Public Schools confirmed the victim was a student in a message sent to families Monday.
"We ask that you keep the student's family/friends in your thoughts during this extremely difficult time," the message says. "This loss may raise many emotions, concerns, and questions for our school community. The coming days may be challenging, but we want to continue to support each other."
The district has a team in place to help with crises, the letter says. Fulton High School will have additional mental health experts available.
The Audrain County Sheriff's Office said in a post on Facebook that 20 investigators from six different agencies are assigned to the case.
