COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The family of a Fulton man who was killed after an  October shooting is increasing the incentive for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect.

The Fulton Police Department announced in a Friday press release that Dominique Ford’s grandfather spoke with them to raise the amount of money for a reward that leads to an arrest.

“Cecil Brandt, Dominique Ford’s Grandfather spoke with Fulton Police Department today with the revised reward amount that has been raised between the family and Callaway County Crime Stoppers is now $6000.00,” police wrote.

Fulton police had previously announced another increase in the reward on Dec. 31.

Ford was found on Oct. 25 with gunshot injuries at a home in the 1400 block of Route C. He later succumbed to his injuries. He was 27.

Police released surveillance video of a person of interest on Nov. 19. Police said in December that it was still missing “one or two pieces” in the investigation, but have not publicly announced the name of any potential suspects.

Those with any possible information for the homicide investigation are encouraged to reach out to the Fulton Police Department of contact Callaway County Crime Stoppers at 573-592-2474.
