MEXICO, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Mexico, Missouri, man was arrested on Friday after allegedly exposing himself to a 17-year-old girl over Labor Day weekend.

Zackery Allen Oliver, 30, was charged with failure to register as a sex offender and first-degree sexual misconduct. He is being held at the Audrain County Jail without bond. An initial court appearance is set for 11 a.m. Tuesday.

Police met with an 18-year-old victim on Friday after she said Oliver exposed his genitalia to her 17-year-old friend on Sept. 4, according to the probable cause statement.

Oliver allegedly tried to contact them several times and continued to show up to the residence. He also allegedly messaged the 17-year-old several times on the social media application Snapchat.

The first victim was so fearful – according to the statement – she had called police to escort her from the residence to her vehicle.

The 17-year-old allegedly told police that Oliver showed up to her residence two days in a row and she made him leave, according to the statement. On Sept. 4, the two were apparently talking about tattoos and Oliver wanted to show her one of his. The two walked to the backyard and he allegedly exposed his genitalia, the statement says.

The girl told police she was uncomfortable and that she declined his advances multiple times, according to the statement.

When she informed Oliver she was 17, he allegedly replied, “That's the golden age of consent,” according to court documents.

Oliver is a registered sex offender whose address was not updated, the probable causes stated. He was living next to the younger victim -- according to court documents -- and his registered address was one he had not lived in for two months.

Oliver allegedly told police he showed the victim a tattoo near his genitalia.
