Trial dates for Columbia businesswoman accused of fraud moved to July 2024

Trial dates have been moved for a Columbia businesswoman accused of fraud and embezzlement.

A motion for continuance was accepted last week in federal court for Kathryn L. Cunningham. The trial date was moved to 8 a.m. Monday, July 8, 2024.

She was charged with a total of 38 counts by a grand jury on Dec. 13, 2022, in Jefferson City.

Cunningham, of Rocheport, is charged with 24 counts of bank fraud, four counts of stealing from an organization that receives federal funds and 10 counts of wire fraud. She pleaded not guilty on Jan. 5.
