Columbia man charged with statutory sodomy
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Columbia man has been charged with first-degree statutory sodomy of a person younger than 14 years old.
Jacob Thomas Noel, 36, is accused of assaulting the victim while they were in his care on May 6. A child abuse pediatrician, as well as a forensic interview at Rainbow House confirmed injuries to police, the probable cause statement says.
A warrant was ordered Tuesday and no bond was set. Noel is not in custody, according to the probable cause statement and the Boone County Sheriff’s online records.
