Several high-profile shootings in recent weeks have Columbia residents talking.

Two people were shot on Ninth Street, a popular downtown Columbia thoroughfare, over the University of Missouri's Homecoming weekend. Several shootings have taken place downtown and in other parts of the city over the past few weeks.
