WATCH: Biden requires nursing home staff vaccinations

President Joe Biden said Wednesday he will require nursing homes to have their employees vaccinated to receive federal Medicare and Medicaid funds.

Biden made the announcement during remarks at the White House in which he also criticized governors who have issued orders banning schools from requiring masks.

Missouri ranks third-lowest among states for the percentage of vaccinated nursing home staff at nearly 48%. Cases are surging in the state, powered by the more contagious delta variant of the virus.
