Parson tweeted Monday morning Margie Vandeven with Missouri Department of Education and Dr. Randall Williams with the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services will join him at the conference.

Last week, Parson and Williams sought to ease Missourians' concerns as COVID-19 cases continue to increase. The governor said several areas around the state have seen decreasing case increases recently.

The Show-Me State added more than 2,800 new COVID-19 cases over the past week, which averages to about 408 new cases every day.

Missouri has set and broken multiple new case records over the past three weeks.
