Cause of Friday brush fire in Columbia not known
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
The cause of a fire in a brush pile at Capen Park in Columbia on Friday is not known, according to an email from a Columbia Fire Department spokesperson.
Crews were called to the park around 11:30 a.m. and found a brush pile with flames showing. The fire was contained by 1 p.m.
No injuries were reported and no nearby structures were damaged, the spokesperson said.
