COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

After failing an inspection earlier this week, the Lake of the Woods public pool has now passed an inspection that occurred on Thursday.

Lake of the Woods pool failed an inspection on Wednesday by the Columbia/Boone Public Health and Human Services, citing “low chlorine concentration, inspector will return for opening." The pool wasn’t open for the 2023 season, but the report states it will be open for this pool season. Thursday’s report states the pool has “proper safety signage and properly balanced pool chemicals.”

It is set to open on Tuesday, according to previous reporting.

Albert-Oakland Pool passed inspection on Wednesday and no violations were observed, according to online city records. The pool is set to open Saturday. No violations were observed at the Douglass Spraygrounds. The Douglass family Aquatic Center is set to open on Tuesday.
