WATCH: Strain family gives update on missing University of Missouri student

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (KMIZ)

The family of Riley Strain, a 22-year-old University of Missouri student who went missing March 8 on a fraternity trip to Nashville, spoke at a news conference Tuesday afternoon.

The Metro Nashville Police Department released a video Monday of a police officer's encounter that night with Strain. It might be the last time he was seen before he went missing.

They were joined Tuesday by police and members of the United Cajun Navy volunteer search and rescue team.
