Large police presence seen on Claudell Lane in Columbia

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

There is a large police presence on Claudell Lane in Columbia.

An ABC 17 News reporter on Thursday afternoon saw 14 Columbia Police Department vehicles at Columbia Square Apartments, including one K-9.

Police told ABC 17 News that evidence of shots being fired was collected and there was property damage seen.

The scene was cleared before 7:30 p.m.

ABC 17 News has reached out to the Columbia Police Department for more information but has yet to hear back.
