Final suspect gets probation in Sylvan Lane killing case

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The final suspect in a 2018 killing received probation for her part in the Columbia man's death.

Hollie Johnson pleaded guilty on Tuesday to possession of a controlled substance. Judge Brouck Jacobs sentenced her to five years of probation, but she could serve a seven-year prison sentence if she violates it.

Johnson is the last of seven suspects to receive prison sentences for Randall King II's death in August 2018, and the only one to receive probation. Columbia police believe the group met up at an apartment on Sylvan Lane for a meth deal. A shootout during the deal killed King.

Richard Nole pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and armed criminal action and received 20 years in prison. Anthony Neill and Elijah Fiore each pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and got ten years each. Daria Littleton admitted to attempted delivery of a controlled substance and received a nine-year sentence. Mackenzie Cox received a five-year sentence after pleading guilty to delivery of 35 grams or less of marijuana. Sarah Davidson also got a five-year sentence after admitting to drug possession.

All seven suspects were originally charged with second-degree murder.
