Meta man flown to University Hospital after Cole County motorcycle crash

COLE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Meta man was flown to the hospital Sunday evening after a motorcycle crash in Cole County.

Troopers say, 47-year-old David Borgmeyer was driving on Route B north of Scheuler Ferry Road when he hit a deer at 5:55 p.m.

The motorcycle then began to slide and went off the left side of the road, where it hit the ground and flipped, according to the online crash report.

Borgmeyer was flown to University Hospital with serious injuries.

The Highway Patrol reported Borgmeyer was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
