With 60 cases in Cole County and 94 cases in the past two days, coronavirus cases in Mid-Missouri are rising quickly.

The Columbia/Boone County Public Health Department says the rise in COVID-19 cases in Columbia is concerning however currently, there are no plans in place for a new health order.

The Cole County Health Department recommends to minimize the spread of the virus people wash their hands, stay home if sick, keep distance from others, avoid mass gatherings and mask when distancing cannot be achieved.
