Woman dies after St. Louis shooting and police arrest man

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Police said a woman who was found with gunshot wounds in southern St. Louis has died and a man has been arrested. St. Louis police said the shooting was reported shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday in St. Louis’ Gate District. Officers found a woman who had been shot. She was later pronounced dead. Authorities didn’t immediately release many details about the shooting or identify the victim Sunday.
