Moberly man seriously hurt after being thrown out of car in Boone County crash

A Moberly man is seriously hurt after being thrown out of a car during a Boone County crash on Saturday morning.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, 47-year-old Ryan Cobb was driving along Highway 124 near Route U when his Jeep Cherokee went off the right side of the road and went into a ditch. The car then crossed Fink Rd. and then began to roll. During the car rolling, Cobb was thrown out of the car.

The car then went down a steep embankment and finally came to a stop.

Cobb was taken by ambulance to University Hospital.

According to the report, he was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
