Man arrested following shooting death of woman in O’Fallon

O’FALLON, Mo. (AP) — Police in suburban St. Louis say a 23-year-old man has been arrested and charged following the shooting death earlier this week of his 20-year-old girlfriend. Police say first responders called to an O’Fallon home just before 3 a.m. Sunday found 20-year-old Shelbi Milburn with a gunshot wound to her torso. She was taken to a hospital, where she died. Police arrested 23-year-old Martinez Williamson at the home he shared with Milburn on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a gun. He’s being held on the charge in lieu of $75,000 bond.
