Two taken to hospital following car crash in Gasconade County

OWENSVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to a crash at 9:35 a.m. Friday morning, in Gasconade County.

According to the crash report, only one vehicle was involved in the crash after it traveled off the left side of the roadway just west of US 50, ejecting one passenger.

The driver, a minor, only suffered minor injuries. The passenger, Daniel Kloeppel who was ejected suffered from serious injuries.

Both were transported to Mercy Washington by ambulance, their conditions are currently unknown. The driver was wearing a seatbelt while Kloeppel was not.

The highway patrol reports the vehicle involved was totaled in the crash.
