Man flown to University Hospital after motorcycle crash in Cooper County

One man was flown to University Hospital after being involved in a motorcycle crash on Saturday night in Cooper County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol report, 69-year-old Ronald Mock was turning left in his motorcycle along MO 5 near Route E, when another driver on a motorcycle was following too closely and hit the back of Mock's bike. Mock's motorcycle then landed on-top of him.

Mock was seriously injured in the crash and flown to University Hospital.

The other driver was not injured according to the crash report.

Neither driver was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
