Man seriously injured after crash in Camden County

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Missouri man was seriously injured in a Camden County crash Saturday just before 9 p.m.

Thomas Montgomery, 22 of Preston, was traveling westbound on US Highway 54 when he failed to navigate a curve. Montgomery then crossed the center line, and traveled off the left side of the road.

He struck a ditch and then struck a utility pole.

Ryan Strickland, 22 of Long Lane, was a passenger in the vehicle. He was taken to a hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.

Both Montgomery and Strickland were wearing seatbelts in the accident.
