MU Health Care is opening a dedicated COVID-19 test collection site on Monday as the demand for testing continues to increase in Mid-Missouri.

The testing site will be a fast, convenient option for those with known exposure or mild symptoms, or those who just need a travel test.

The testing site is located at 2003 W Broadway, Suite 100, in Columbia.

Appointments are required at this location and you must wait in your car until your scheduled time. Appointments will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. If you plan to use this location, you must wear a mask and bring proof of insurance if you have it.

Results will be delivered within 48 hours of testing. If results are positive, you will receive a phone call from the testing site, however if results are negative, you will be notified through the MU Health Care portal.

If you are suffering from severe symptoms or breathing problems you should go to the emergency department or call 911.
