National Churchill Museum reopens in Fulton

FULTON, Mo. (KMIZ)

The National Churchill Museum in Fulton celebrated its reopening Friday.

The museum has been closed for 16 months due to the pandemic and the completion of several renovation projects.

The museum does require people wear masks and social distancing as part of future tours.

Museum director Timothy Riley says he's excited to have people back.

Some pandemic changes to the museum's business may stick around.

Gov. Mike Parson was also at the re-opening this afternoon in Fulton.
