The Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services reported 3 new COVID-19 related deaths on Saturday, bringing the state's death toll up to 8,823.

The health department reported 364 new cases of the virus on Saturday. Now, 505,232 cases of the novel coronavirus have been found in the Show Me State.

The state also reported 167 new probable cases through antigen testing, which pushed the total to 84,666.

Missouri's seven day positivity rate was reported at 4.9% on Saturday.

As for Missouri's healthcare system, 796 patients were reported to be dealing with COVID-19 infections in hospitals. of those, 146 are in the ICU and 75 are on ventilators.

The state is reporting that 48.9% of all Missouri residents over 18 have gotten at least one shot of the COVID-19 vaccine.

In total, 2,356,570 million people have at least one shot, which is 38.4% of the state's population. Of those, 1,871,925 have finished the process, which is 30.5% of the population.

Vaccine distribution is slowing down in the state. In the past seven days, 164,773 have been given out. The state reported that the 7 day average doses given out on Friday was 19,231, which has continued to fall since mid-April.

Vaccine providers in the state have now given out 4,100,392 doses of the vaccine.
