A house fire in Fulton Tuesday afternoon causes an estimated $60,000 in damages.

The Fulton Fire Department responded to the house fire on the 800 block of Jefferson Street in Fulton at 1 p.m.

When crews arrived, they found smoke showing from a two-story wood framed residential structure.

Fulton police on scene reported that residents of the house were accounted for and out of the residence.

Officials on scene report the fire was contained in one room with smoke and heat damages to other areas of the second floor.

Fulton fire department investigators determined the fire to be accidental. The only thing investigators could not rule out was smoking materials.
