Vaccine appointments available ahead of MU Health Care clinic at Faurot Field

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

MU Health Care is set to host a vaccine clinic Saturday at Faurot Field, offering vaccinations to all Missourians age 16 and older.

The clinic's appointment times begin at 7 a.m. on Saturday and will run through 5 p.m.

Residents under 18 years old are required to present signed parental consent, in order to receive the vaccine.

Appointments are required in order to get vaccinated, however you can schedule an appointment on the same day as your vaccination.

To schedule an appointment, residents can visit MU Health Care's website.

Those who need help scheduling an appointment can call MU Health Care's  COVID-19 vaccine call center at 573-771-CARE (2273).

Residents receiving their first dose Saturday will return to Faurot Field in three weeks to receive their second dose.
