Motorcycle crash sends one to hospital

BOONE COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

One person was taken to the hospital Friday night after a motorcycle crash in Boone County.

The crash happened at the intersection of Tony Street and East Old Plank Road just before midnight.

According to a Boone County Sheriff's deputy, the driver who was taken to the hospital was talking to law enforcement after the crash. However, deputies were unsure of the driver's condition.

Deputies said the driver who was taken to the hospital was not wearing a helmet and his motorcycle ended up in a ditch. The other driver involved did not suffer any injuries and was wearing a helmet.
