University of Missouri welcomes back 2020 graduates Saturday

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

One year later, The University of Missouri's 2020 graduates are being given the opportunity to walk across the stage Saturday at Mizzou Arena.

According to MU spokesman Christian Basi, 1,500 graduates will take part in the events that kick off at 8 a.m. Saturday.

Four ceremonies will be held Saturday:

  • 8:00 a.m. to 9:15 a.m.
  • 11:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • 2:30 p.m. to 3:45 p.m.
  • 5:45 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Doors open to family and friends an hour prior to the ceremony.

Family and friends attending will be shown to assigned seats, all in pods of six which are socially distanced.

Graduates participating are asked to show up no later than a half an hour prior to the ceremony, to ensure they can be checked in and pre-seated.

Ticket pick up for graduates participating is located at the Mizzou store. Graduates are required to show a student ID or provide their student ID number.

For those unable to attend in person, the university will also live stream the commencement ceremonies on it's website.
