COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

An MU Police cruiser was damaged in a crash in Columbia Saturday morning.

It happened in the intersection of Stadium Blvd. and Providence Rd. around 3 a.m.

Two cars were involved in the crash. MU Police said there were no injuries.

Our crews saw police conducting a field sobriety test on the man who was driving the other vehicle. Caleb Ritter, 28, was arrested for driving while under the influence, careless and imprudent driving, and possession of 10 grams or less of marijuana. 

Both lanes of Providence Rd. were partially shut down for a few hours but are back open Saturday afternoon.
